My Review of Eragon

I know, it isn't my movie. But I'd ever-so-much like to review it.
I read the book first, so I knew exactly how they had changed it.
In the book, Eragon fights the soldiers and Ra-zac around camp with Rowen.
In the movie Rowen is sent away before you get to know his name, and Eragon runs away with the newly hatched egg. Before we are even obliged to get up from our seats to leave in disgust, Siphira is suddenly transformed into  true-blue enormous dragon.
It is sort of a good thing that she was able to speak so quickly, because without Siphira, the movie wouldn't make a cent.
Brom is introduced very quickly, and he seems to think Siphira is a great dragon.
Then Siphira know he just has to know a lot about dragons. The movie is filled to the brim with throwaway lines, like:
"Is is your fate to be a dragon rider." (Brom) "You must go on without me" (also Brom). And many others. It seems the script writers were to lazy to write decent lines. If it weren't for the battle scene, the movie would be uninteresting. (And even with it, it still is dull). In the book, lots of more interesting characters are introduced, and you actually feel for Eragon and Siphira.
In the movie, they are your piece of broccoli, neglected and dejected, you can't care less what happens to it. You end up feeding it to the dogs. (Except me, who likes broccoli).
The movie took the book, put it in a flower press and squeezed it until it was just a centimeter long and full of uninteresting pulp.
The director had to be pretty brave to take on such a clearly- failing script.
I think that if the script writers had stuck to the book, the movie might've actually made some money.

Mr. UN-Beatable vrs. Mr. Stupid

It isn't the greatest movie on the planet, but it will do for now.
I am Mr. UN-Beatable, who happens to wear my grandfather's ski-mask and an assortment of disguises.
We never learn the name of the girl who is always following him around,
but who cares? Mr. Stupid is also called Mr. Abominable, but that doesn't seem to help the plot.
Mr. UN-Beatable vrs. Mr Stupid is now on DVD. (Just to get the thing off my disk-drive).
My Cat's Secret Lair is also doing well. Here is picture of a train. (used for transport in My Cat's Secret Lair)
and an airplane. (also used for transport in My Cat's Secret Lair)

5 Fates Await You

Here is what is keeping me from blogging daily.
Here is the secret project that has not been mentioned yet in Recycled Filmakers.
Here is the amazing movie that has finally been realized.
Here, is 5 Fates Await You, the new movie from W.M.Thing.
5 Fates Await You is about a girl who wants to live forever. A skeleton ghost appears and grants that wish. But in order for her to live forever, the girl has to suffer five fates, that last being the worst. Here they are:
Fate#1: Red eyes will follow you wherever you venture.
Fate#2: Invisible Ghosts will torment you.
Fate#3: Pure darkness will surround you.
Fate#4: You will hear screams in the night.
and
Fate#5: You will be tortured in a fire that burns you.
I also will say that the DSA trailer is on YouTube, just type in w.m.thing and you will get all of my movies, most recent on top.
Above are the characters in order of appearance. The girl, the skeleton ghost, & the invisible ghost.
5 Fates Await You is not done yet, but will be soon.

Trailer for DSA

I'm sorry. I must not be a very good blogger for not keeping my word about posting everyday. I forgot, and other things.
I watched Valley of Gwangi, and drew a little. But what this post is about is the new trailer for DSA: Dragon Slayers' Academy, an adoption of the the book by Kate Mc Mullan. It will be on YouTube shortly, maybe tomorrow, if I can get my father to put it on for me. He is watching the Matrix. Anyway, I'll tell you when it's on YouTube when it is.
